Membership turns a love of days out into direct support for conservation. The core offer is generous and easy to grasp: unlimited free entry to over 500 places and free parking at most Trust car parks. There is a membership for every household, including individual, joint and family options, a young person rate for 18 to 25 year olds, a junior membership, life membership and a senior rate for members aged 60 and over who have belonged for three years in a row. Paying by annual Direct Debit online adds a guest pass to share with a friend or relative, and membership renews automatically. New members get a temporary card by email, so they can start visiting straight away. Members manage their details in My Account and can choose the magazine in print or digitally. The benefits travel, too: through the International National Trusts Organisation, members can visit 14 similar heritage bodies in other countries, including Scotland, Italy, the Bahamas and Canada. Disabled visitors can apply for an Essential Companion pass so a carer or companion visits free.
