Hilton Honors makes every stay count, starting with the first one. Members earn Points at around 9,400 properties in 144 countries and territories, and Points only expire after 24 months with no account activity. They can be used for reward nights with no blackout dates, Lyft rides, shopping, experiences, rental cars and airline transfers. Points & Money lets members mix Points and cash in almost any ratio, and Points Pooling lets up to 11 members combine Points for a stay with no transaction fees. Elite members get the fifth night free on standard rooms booked fully with Points. The Hilton Honors app lets guests check in before they arrive, pick their room from a floor plan and open the door with Digital Key, which can be shared with up to four more people. From 1 January 2026, Gold and Diamond take fewer nights to reach, and the new Diamond Reserve tier adds confirmable upgrades, a guaranteed 4pm late checkout and access to Hilton's Premium Clubs. Hilton Honors first launched in 1987 and now has more than 260 million members.
