PC Optimum is Loblaw's free rewards programme for little wins every day. Members earn points through offers shaped around what they buy most often, at stores like Loblaws, Real Canadian Superstore, No Frills and Shoppers Drug Mart. Every 10,000 points is worth $10 in rewards, so the everyday shop keeps paying back.
Why it works
PC Optimum is personal by design. Members load personalised offers to their account online or in the app, and those offers are shaped around each member's most-bought groceries and products, so points land on things they already need. At Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix, members earn 15 points on nearly every dollar, and points also come from fuel at more than 2,000 Esso and Mobil stations, points events and PC Financial cards, with more than 4,500 places to earn in all. Redeeming is straightforward: 10,000 points equals $10 off eligible purchases, used in 10,000-point steps, and special Spend Your Points events give members even more value for their points. Members can use a key tag, a plastic card or the mobile card in the PC Optimum app, so there is always a way to collect.
