The best loyalty card platforms put your customers’ card on their phone, ideally in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, right next to their bank cards. Paper cards get lost, forgotten and washed with the jeans. We looked at the main loyalty card platforms for small and mid-sized businesses and ranked the nine that stood out.
How we ranked them
We judged each platform on the same five things, using only what each company publishes on its own website:
- Wallet first. Does the card go into both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, without customers downloading an app?
- Staying in touch. Can you reach customers between visits, for example with notifications on their phone?
- Easy to start. How quickly can a business set up a card and get customers to add it?
- Fits what you use. Does it connect with the tills, online shops and tools businesses already run?
- Clear costs. Is the pricing published, so you know what you’ll pay before you talk to anyone?
We haven’t listed prices, because they change often. Each platform’s own pricing page has the latest.

1. PassKit
PassKit is a wallet pass platform for loyalty cards, membership cards, coupons and tickets in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Customers add their card from an email, a text, a QR code or a web page, with no app to download.
Why it ranks here: it covers both wallets, handles far more than loyalty, and its integrations directory lists tools such as Shopify, Stripe, Mindbody, Mailchimp and Zapier. It also publishes a detailed rate card, so costs can be worked out before signing up.
Worth knowing: the bill has two parts, a monthly fee set by team size and a charge per card once you pass the included number, so the monthly cost moves with how many customers you have.
2. FanCircles PushPass
PushPass from FanCircles puts a business’s own branded pass into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Customers add it with one tap from a link or a QR code, with no app and nothing to fill in. The business can then send push notifications that appear on the customer’s lock screen, and the pass carries a loyalty programme of levels and points that the business sets.
Why it ranks here: it’s built around staying in touch, not just collecting. Every pass can carry a Scan to Share QR code, so customers can pass it to friends and earn points when they join. The dashboard shows how many people added the pass, where they came from, and the clicks and sales each notification brings in.
Worth knowing: loyalty works on levels and points rather than stamps, so a café that only wants “buy nine, get one free” may find a simple stamp card tool enough. Linking spending in your shops to points is a set-up job rather than self-serve.
3. Loopy Loyalty
Loopy Loyalty makes digital stamp cards that customers keep in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. They join by QR code or link, and staff add stamps with Loopy’s Stamper app. Loopy Loyalty is made by PassKit.
Why it ranks here: it does one job simply. Every plan includes both wallets and unlimited customers, and you can set up a draft card without a credit card.
Worth knowing: there are no refunds, and if you cancel, your cards are deleted after the billing period ends and customers stop getting updates.
4. Loyalzoo
Loyalzoo is a UK points or stamp loyalty tool for small shops, cafés and salons, with marketing and memberships built in. Every plan includes Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes.
Why it ranks here: it works with or without a till, connects with Clover, Square, Epos Now, Shopify and others, and customers without smartphones can still take part by giving their name or number.
Worth knowing: text message promotions and points notifications need messaging credits bought in the app, and only one plan includes credits.
5. Passcreator
Passcreator is a German wallet pass platform, running since 2012, for loyalty cards, stamp cards, coupons, gift cards, tickets and membership cards. It supports Apple Wallet, Google Wallet and Samsung Wallet, and push messages reach customers without an app.
Why it ranks here: it has a genuine free plan with every feature for a handful of active passes, so a business can test a working card before paying. It connects with Shopify, HubSpot, Salesforce, Stripe and Zapier.
Worth knowing: it’s for businesses only and may ask for proof of incorporation, costs grow with every pass customers save, and listed prices exclude VAT.
6. Boomerangme
Boomerangme issues digital wallet cards for local businesses, from stamp and points cards to cashback and membership, and sends push, text and email campaigns. Staff scan cards in a browser on any phone, tablet or computer.
Why it ranks here: the entry plan covers unlimited cards, several locations and many staff logins, with no extra hardware or customer app.
Worth knowing: the entry price is high for a single small shop, so it suits businesses with more than one site.
7. Square Loyalty
Square Loyalty is the points and rewards programme built into Square’s tills, online shop and invoices. Customers join at the checkout with their phone number.
Why it ranks here: for businesses already on Square, it sits inside the till, and customers earn points even when they pay cash.
Worth knowing: it only works through Square’s own sales tools, and the wallet pass is for Apple Wallet only. Square’s help pages say loyalty passes can only be added on iPhones.
8. Stamp Me
Stamp Me runs digital stamp cards inside its own app, with tap-and-go stamping hardware for the counter.
Why it ranks here: it needs no till connection and offers several ways to stamp, including a countertop StampPod and single-use codes for takeaway and online orders.
Worth knowing: customers have to download the Stamp Me app. They can save a member code to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, but the card itself lives in the app.
9. Kangaroo Rewards
Kangaroo Rewards is a points, referral and rewards platform for shops and service businesses, with your own branded app on higher plans.
Why it ranks here: it names more till and online shop connections than most, including Lightspeed, Heartland, Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Mindbody, so it suits businesses that sell both in store and online.
Worth knowing: the pages we checked don’t mention Apple Wallet or Google Wallet passes, and your own branded app is only on the higher plans.
Selling online? Two more to look at
If most of your sales happen in an online shop, a points programme that lives in the shop itself may suit you better than a wallet card. Smile.io runs points, referrals and VIP rewards for Shopify and BigCommerce stores and has a free plan for smaller shops. Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals works across Shopify, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud and WooCommerce, also with a free plan. Neither offers its own wallet card, though Yotpo offers wallet passes through a paid partner.
Which one should you choose?
If you want a simple stamp card for one shop, start with Loopy Loyalty or Loyalzoo. If you want to reach customers on their phone between visits as well as reward them, look at PushPass. If you need loyalty, tickets and membership cards in one place, PassKit or Passcreator. If you’re already on Square, try Square Loyalty first. Whichever you pick, our guide to points, tiers and paid membership will help you decide how the rewards should work, and our loyalty ideas for small businesses show what to do with the card once you have it.
Details checked on each platform’s own website in October 2026. Features and prices change, so check before you sign up.
